I'm a bit dense, so could someone tell me the quick easy way to
take over/capture an enemys building.

Also after a while of building I get a message upon requesting
more buildings that it "cannot make anymore".

Ieven bought a new construction site & deployed it to no avil as
it said the same. Is there a limit as to how many buildings
you can make.

Try reading the manual. It details when it is possible to take over
an enemy building.

There is a limit to the number of buildings and vehicles that can
be active in a game. Either get the latest patch (will fix up some
bugs, but won't entirely remove your problem) or destroy some enemy
buildings.

Yes. See above.

There is no quick easy way. It is a pain and not worth it usually.
If you are able to do it, then you at a point in the game, where you
might as well just blow everything else up.

If you really want to, though the way I'd suggest is this:

Damage desired building til it is red.
Meanwhile, send a good number of troops to the building.
Keep a low damage causing unit (not a Rocket Launcher) to hit the
building in case the computer repairs.
Keep enemy units (and combat) away from the area.

Yes. Though I am not sure if there is a relationship with the number
of structures the enemies have.

Well I just bought Dune II at the weekend and the only way I can
do is get the building to RED level damage and then move by
troop unit in to the building. This works and the building does
become yours. The only trouble is that the others units atacking
the building to make it RED keep on attacking it and often they
destroy the building even though it's now mine before I can stop 'em.

Must be like 'units'. I.E. There is a limit. I havn't found it ket though.

Does anyone know of a FAQ for DUNE II?
