There's alot of hype in its wake (and the wait). Let's hope it
delivers. The only game that has more hype this season is MW2, which
I don't understand (been there done that). I hope it outsells it and
brings back the dominance of RPGs. I know, fat chance, but I can
dream.

Insert grumble about UK release dates here.

We have to wait until Friday.
And, of course, I have a free evening this week on /Thursday/.

Heh... the massive web advertising campaign reminds me of a national
election. :-) At least it's a bit of a reprieve from those Evony ads.

I'm kind of surprised how weak on detail most of the previews/reviews are.
They haven't answered most of my questions. Is there any online component?
What is the combat like? What's the basic story? It's pretty much: "This
game is awesome. Buy two copies." Mind you, I'll probably buy it off of
Steam once my willpower weakens a bit more.

I was surprised to see the rather low system requirements for a game of this
kind. Force Unleashed can bite my ass, since it looks like I can't play that
without some trouble.

Me too - but my Xbox version doesn't arrive until Friday or Sat, and I
couldn't resist the temptation...

Just finished playing the City Elf origin, and so far so good - I
think I'll spend this week playing through the origins, and deciding
on who to go for first when I start playing properly this weekend.

Most ridiculous post I've seen in a long time. If you don't like

Well, the review is up on GameSpot, and they love the game, giving it
a 9.5 rating. They also mention the PC version is significantly
better than the console versions, citing a better interface and better
graphics.

I hear you, but this is a rare case of a PC game ported to the
consoles, and from the reviews I've seen, it seems to be that way
(like console reviews saying things like playing it with a mouse would
be much better).

Gamespot reviews are to be taken with a large dose of salt. They give
every AAA tile 9.5 rating, sometimes even 10. Here's a much more
balanced review. 7.5 only. Good but has issues that will probably get
fixed at some point.

I have read in forums cracked Drakensang introduced some gamestopping issues
as part of its copy-protection. That's probably most simple and most efficient
kind of the protection.

I already figured that you figured that. Saying you talk like a yank was
a deliberate giveaway on my part, that still doesn't negate the fact you
are a douchebag pirate. I may be a troll but my trolls speak the truth.
That's what makes me a better troll than the wannabe trolls. Without us
