Yep.
Old Blienmeis who may be found at the Rattkin ruins has the only one on the
planet. The only way you'll get it is over his dead body. :-)

It's a really cool weapon (best weapon I think, if the wielder has a
strength of 18), and it's therefore hiden in a not so obvious place.
To get it you have to :
Kill Blienmeis in the Rattkin Ruins. But off course wait until he lets you
in to his guild of thieves and gives you some item you need in the Funhouse.

Actually if you kill him earlier you will get the necessary quest
items anyway. Of course, you may not be able to...
What item is that?
Josh K.
Ring of Reflection.

The ring (I think) of reflextion. You need to ask about "reflextion" (sp?).
At least thats how they spell it. Old Bleinmeis won't get it if you spell it
"reflection".

If you check out the tables in the back of the manual, you'll see you
need 19 stat points for a Faerie to become a Ninja. (7str + 4pie +
6vit + 2dex). I've never seen higher than 18, so I don't think it's
possible to roll one at the beginning; you have to change class to it
later. Likewise a Faerie Lord requires 21. (It is possible to get
Lords and Ninjas for some of the other races, e.g. a Rawulf Lord
requires only 15.)

It might be noted that these totals are for male characters.
I checked the starting stats and it should be noted that female
characters have the same base stats as male _except_ they have -2
on strength and +1 on personality.

You just need incredible patience. At present I'm playing a male
Faerie Ninja, and a female Faerie Ninja. It took me a week of
rerolling stats but the end results are well worth the frustration.

If life is a bowl of cherries
how come I get all the pips?
I am unsure of wiz7, but in wiz6 I've rolled a character with a bonus
of 26. If you can't make one in Crusaders, you could try to make one
in Bane first (altho you wouldn't need to make a faerie ninja, but
just a faerie, then change class).

Why would anyone want a Faerie Lord? Can't use the armor or most of the
weapons. A Faerie Ninja makes sense.

A week? If you are going to win the game, you'll probably have to
change professions many times. This makes all that start up time
pointless. I'm trying the game for the third time now, and found
that I was changing professions after about 2 hours of playing.

I keep getting 18 bonus points but not 19, bummer dude. :(
This is true. But I discard my female Faerie Ninja right after I start
the game. The only reason for this is: there is no Ninja Cowl, Gown, ...
with the Faerie Ninja at the beginning! I think this thing should add
to FAQ to suggest people re-consider when they want a Faerie Ninja at
the beginning of the game. No music instrument for Faerie Bard AND no
Ninja armors for Faerie Ninja! Now I am using a Faerie Mage at the
beginning and prepare to change she to Ninja after level 10.
Li
FWIW I have tried a number of professions for Faeries, and they don't
seem to ever get the class equipment, they always seem to get Faerie
equipment.

It is possible to get a faerie ninjas and faerie lords. To do so, you need to
select male (females get minuses to strength) and be *very* patient. (Or, you
could use a character editor :-) )
The highest bonus I ever rolled was 25. Took me 2 hours. (O.K., so I was
bored)

That's because females always get -2 STR +1 charisma. (only during creation)

I think faeries always get the same starting equipment no matter the
class. This isn't anywhere in the manual. Dunno why they left it out.

Erm.... make that -2 STR +1 PER.

I agree with you Jeff. I'm playing Wiz 7 for about the sixth time right
now. I change professions often. When starting the game I like a 10-13
roll and I move on. It gets really boring rolling for high numbers when
your players will be changing.

A fair point. But remember that you'll improve about a point of AC per level
increase if you are a ninja. Also, instead of a music instrument, for a
faerie bard, you get a faerie stick and sleeping powder. IMHO, a bit weird
but its something I can live with.
What really annoys me though is the fact that starting psionics get a shadow
cloak which they can't use. Only thieves can use shadow cloaks.
Oh well, thems the breaks.
