I read that Cauri is one of the stoned people outside of the druid circle
but I can't find her. I did unstone several dark elf pilgrims but I can't
find Cauri.

Would someone please tell me exactly where Cauri is in relation to
the circle of stones (or some other landmark)?

I received the Cauri quest before I ever went to Murmurwoods but is
it possible that I unstoned her without realizing it? Dantillon doesn't
recognize that I've found her, though.

Thanks,

Ed B.

Try somewhat northwest of the circle.

There are 5 stoned persons, but with all the trees they are hard to find.
I unstoned two pesants then Cauri, and left the map to complete the quest.
I can't find the left of them, so they might have disappeared somehow.

In any case, if you unstoned her, she would probably thank you anyway and
go to the adventurers house. If you can't find her, maybe she is there.

Hi,

I had a terrible time with this quest. Did you happen to waste a scroll by
casting it? I did and then I could not find her until I let Murmurwood
respawn, and I returned with 6 stone to flesh scrolls. Less than 6 she
would not be there.

I remeber only 5 scrolls, but it could have been 6.
I found Cauri as the fifth and left the map then.

Ok put your on screen map (the little one you see while walking) on zoomed all
the way out. Go north until the south edge of the circle is just touching the
bottom of the map then go due west. The circle will still be visible on the
map (about 1/4 of the way from the bottom right) when you get to her.

Thank you all, I found her after searching some more based
upon your recommendations. :)

I don't consider graphics a particularly important part of a game
but when it gives me a headache to circle around trying to find
things such as buttons on walls and hard-to-locate statues I'd
rather do it in a good graphics game. They're working on a
new engine for MM9 so it's a dead issue anyway and in any
case I'm glad they put out MM8 rather than just wait years
for the next title (as most other game companies do).

Thanks,

Ed B.

She's northwest of the circle of stones. She's not too far from it, so
search around that area.

Seems like it was NNW of the west side of the stone circle. About 1 - 1 1/2" in
the big map. Try www.cornerzone.com/mm/ for good maps
