MM7: The absolute WORST bug in the game!!!! The Lich promotion quest

If you play the dark side, and try to fulfill the Lich quest, and you find the
Soul Jars in Thunderfist Mountain before you search for it in the Walls of Mist
(and you almost *always* do if you don't know about the quest bug because you
have to be much more advanced to get through the Walls of Mist than to get
through Thunderfist Mountain) then you can't be promoted to Lich!!!!

That really sucks, and that sucks that they didn't fix it in any patch a whole
year after the game was released.

Oops. Sorry about that. I was wrong. I only thought there was that bug
because I'd heard about it elsewhere. I hadn't even tried to get the lich jars
from the The Walls of Mist at the time I wrote that. All I had were the Case of
Soul Jars and the Lich guy didn't accept that, and I assumed that because I'd
read it from others, that I wouldn't be able to find the lich jars when I
explored the Walls of Mist. But as it turned out, I did find the lich jars when
I explored the Walls of Mist and I did get the lich promotion, as well as
fulfilled the Soul Jars quest (almost at the same time in fact). And everything
is now hunky-dory. :) (though I'm still lost on finding out where the Tomb of
either Kelwin and/or Nag-Nagoth [sp?] is.. but I'll try to figure it out myself
for the time being.)
