Can anyone say for sure what is best?

From my post on this matter earlier this week:

Regarding sword/spear versus dagger for knight:(Bear with me on this if
the depate is outdated cos I've been dying to know..) I read somewhere
that 2 daggers do more damage than
spear/sword with high GM armsmaster - well, the question is HOW high?

Math:
X=dam from weapon (including damage from wallace-armsmaster-bonus)
Y=dam.bonus from skill
Z=attacks pr round
D=damage pr round,
then
D=Z(X+Y)

When a knight(twice promoted) has reached the highest possible skill
levels (M/GM) with weapons used, the only value above wich still may be
increased is Y. Since Z is larger for dagger
than for spear/sword, at one point as Y increases, the two dagger
combo will do more damage.

So, if I start with two identical dark knights, and let them both
divide a given number of skill points in an optimal way among their
damage enhancing skills (dagger+armsmaster for the
first and
sword+spear+armsmaster for the second), HOW LARGE MUST THE NUMBER OF
SKILL POINTS BE FOR THE DAGGER-KNIGHT TO DO MORE DAMAGE?

Lets complicate further; both Knights have optimal weapons and
skill-boost items - remember items that increase attack rate, and the
fact that artifact/relic-skill-bonus cumulates with item-skill-bonus.

OK, according to something I read somewhere, recovery for spear is
100, and for dagger is 60. I don't know how of darkness/swiftness
works, but let's assume it deducts 20(for simplissity)
wich yields that the dagger-knight attack approx. twice as often.
(both daggers must be "swift", since attack sped is derived from
slowest weapon(don't remeber where I read that), and the
spear must be swift because it's slower than the sword wich must be
"Wallace" due to it's item-cumulative armsmaster bonus).

SO, if basic weapon damage is approx x2 for spear/sword compared to
dagger/dagger, we can neglect this due to the double attack rate of
daggers.

During a period containing 1 sp/sw-attack, "wallace"-armsmaster-bonus
+15 yields +30dam (and possibly weapon speed boonus wich i will neglect
to keep simplicity...) and maby 15
additional damage of elemental/body.

SO, in 2 attacks(same time period as 1 sw/sp-att.), the dagger-knight
needs to do a total "skill damage" wich is 45 higher than the "skill
damage" the sw/sp-knight does in one attack.
Spear skill ads to damage, so if skill with spear is 15 (don't think
there is any bonus-items for this skill), then the dagger-knight needs
to do 60 damage more with armsmaster alone(in two
attacks) than sw/sp-knight does with
armsmaster(in one attack). This is possible if both knights have
armsmaster of 30 or more...

CONCLUSION(if my numbers are not wrong): If you have "Wallace" and an
armsmaster-skill below 30(not including wallace-bonus), you will do
more damage with sword/spear.

Otherwise 2 daggers is likely to be better and always in the (very)
long run...

Still, sword/spear probably rules 80-90% of the time if you play
through in an ordinary fashion.

Furthermore: Who cares - the knight kills them all anyway...

What do you think?

It's a bit sophisticated. I think the best way to learn is to try.
Notice that at M or GM level in sword you can use two of them, and GM in
sword contributes also to armour class. According to me 2xsword is much
better than 2xdagger.

I would say though, that Sourcerer/Lich is much better of
with 2 daggers than just the staff. I've tried both and keep going
back to 2 dagger.
