Fallout 2: Beck's book

I realize this a fairly minor quest, but I would still like to finish
it. Where the hell is Becky's book? I talked to Derek, and he said he
threw it in a corner of a building. I've checked every corner of every
building in town, and I never found it.

I've also seen some people on this group say that it is in the
cemetary. I looked there too. No luck. Does the location of the book
change from game to game? Any help would be appreciated.

I've got the same problem. Talked to two other people who've been
playing it, and they've found the book in two different places.

The first was in the cemetary (bottom left corner, near the old church),

The second was by some garbage cans, in the bottom right corner of one
of the maps.

Anybody else have any other book locations? This has been the most
annoying quest yet.

I hear it can be in one of 4 places. Look in the outhouse, north of the
hole bar, that is where it was for me.

There are several places it could be. I found it laying on the ground next
to a trash can, just south of the church where Tyler stands guard. It
might be:

In the outhouse.
In a corner of a ruined building.
On the ground next to trash can.
In the graveyard.

There may be more... there was another thread about this same topic a few
days ago; try a dejanews search.

Keep looking. It's RANDOM, so no one's answer will help you, unless by pure
coincidence.

FWIW, I found it right by one of the toilets, which seemed incredibly
appropriate. :-)

Derek says he thinks he threw it in the corner of a building, and then he
changes his mind and contradicting himself... he has no idea. ;)

The book is there on the map. It's randomly get's placed in one of four places
when you first enter the East side of the den. It's somewhere on the ground
of that map.

Use your transparency bubble to find it.

Try to find it by yourself. It's there. ;) Check everwhere. Three places are
pretty easy to find. If you still can't find it read the below.

1. The NW Outhouse.

2. SW part of the graveyard.

3. Next to some trash just south of the graveyard, across the street.

The one that is stumping most people...
4. NE section of the map, behind a broken wall east of Metzger's bedroom.
