BG2: How to lower your rep in a controlled way

I'm looking for a way to keep my reputation in the medium zone. Stealing
doesn't do it any more, unfortunately, and I don't want to kill any
innocents. Does anyone know of a way?

Getting Viconia into your party will lower it by 2.

Is this a one-off or can you keep doing it (ie ditch her and re-hire)? If the
latter, it is a nice way to make a mixed alignment party work.
