This next one saves game time too. Wait until you have increased exp by enough
to jump at least 5 levels and preferably 10. If you have one guy go in to
increase one level as many days pass as if you had everyone go up 10 levels.
When you are ready to level. Go to south west side of city of whitecap, there
is a duper there in a house who boosts your merchant skill 8 points. This can
take you from spending about 4k per level per character to about 2k. That is a
savings of over 400k in 50 or so levels.
If you have a prefered set of NPCs then make a note of _houses_ with those
types in them. The NPCs in houses stay the same type. And they return to their
houses when fired.
For making money, give all items for selling to your best merchant. Enchant
anything enchantable before selling.

I had a level 15 master merchant and he could buy/sell at any store at
value. But, you can get away with lvl 12 or maybe less if you only
buy/sell at the lower priced stores. A duper allows you to have an
even lower level and helps with training costs as well.
