Arcanum: Arcane staff?

My first time through the game I found an Arcane Staff which had a very
high amount of mana stored in it. Of course I was playing a
technological character and I didn't use the staff. Now I'm playing
through again as a mage and I can't remember where I found the staff.
Does anyone happen to remember where it is, or is it a random treasure?

Thanks for the info. I thought maybe I won it as part of a quest or off
of a specific bad guy or something. I'll keep an eye out for it then. I
never remember to look at the gypsy stores since they are usually some
distance from the main part of the cities, but I have to remember to do
that as a mage.

: ladies outside of the towns their inventory is regenerated. Visit
: them enough and you can get a full set of arcane stuff. But that kind
