Diablo: Help with DeathShade FlashMaul

Hello All!

On 6th level appears this guy. Looks like Flesh Clan or Stone Clan, but painted
in grey. Holy bolts does not affect him, and several dozens of firebolt did
not made any harm to him. I tried to cast stone curse at him, and then light
fire under him with firewall, but it was in vain. When I started fight [btw,
I'm mage, so it is not my favorite way to kill monsters :-) ], we fought for
long time, I used mana shield and hel myself, but..... Bastard wins...
Does anybody know, how can I kill him?

Stone curse should work -- it works on everything except the Big D himself.
You probably just missed with it. Try that again.

Try a weapon that knocks target beck like bow of the bear.

Holy bolts only work on Skeletons, Zombies and Diablo.

He's vulnerable to all spells (lightning, fire, stone curse), except for
"magic" based spells (flash, blood star). Stone curse works real well
on all of the "leader" types.

Try firewall, let him walk to you through that wall of flame. By the time
he reaches you, he is toasted. Better yet, if he is in a room, throw the
spell then close the door. That should do just nicely. Anyway, stone curse
is great except that it's not at all that common. I have level 21 mage,
and the best I can do is level 2 stone curse. I don't think many legitimate
players in the 10-15 level range have stone curse.
