Around the backside of the castle you'll find a glowing red wall with cracks
in it. If you strike the wall with weapons or bows, you'll make an opening
you can duck and crawl through.
Be very careful, however. The Anskram Keep quest has a bug that will occur
if you leave the keep before completing the quest (destroying all eight imp
fireholes). If you access Anskram Keep by using the ground floor entrance,
you'll be forced to leave before completing the quest (which will cause the
bug that doesn't acknowledge the quest completion). However, if you visit
one of the castle towers, you should discover a stair case to the middle and
upper floors. There is a locked door on the upper floor you can't get into
quite yet, and there is an alternative entrance on the opposite side that
leads into the upper levels of Anskram Keep.
Just make sure you use the upper entrance to Anskram, and don't leave the
keep until you've destroyed all the teleporters.
There is a simple fix for the bug if in case you enact it, but taking the
proper precautions will help you avoid the bug all together. It's also
noteworthy to mention that I have not discovered any more 'quest crippling'
bugs well past Anskram, so thankfully this is not common.
