You can rent a room for any of your party members at one of the various
inns in Britannia, thus they will be removed from your roster.
Saduj is a member of the Oppression, so it would be wise to get rid
of him ASAP.

Best thing to do is to go to an inn and order him to rest there...this has
the effect of removing him from your group. And for decent group members, go
with: Iolo, Jaana, Mariah, Dupre, Julia, Shamino, or Geoffrey (if you can
find them of course). Katrina is a big-time loser and not worth adding...Gorn
is ok, I added him in the group so that blackthorne would sacrifice him
isntead of some other valuable character :)

Let's look at it this way; you, the avatar, along with Shamino and Iolo, can
find 12 disciples who are willing to join. Unfortunately, one of them is a
traitor. Saduj spelled backwards is Judas....
To get rid of this pesky butthead, just go to an inn, and drop him
off and never pick him up. Better yet, drop him off while he is poisoned...

Hey, I LIKE Katrina. :)
Back in U4, she was one of the best, if not the best fighters. Still
one of my fav people, even if she loafed around New Magincia. :)

Blech, in U4, as soon as I got them, I walked Geoffrey and Katrina
through poison patches so I could kill them...horrible burden to my group,
since they couldn't use any distance weapons (or cast anything), and didn't
have the hp (katrina leveled so slow, i never got her above level 4) to
walk up to things so they could use the mystic sword on them.

Dumping people off in U4? I wasn't aware that such a thing was possible.

Pardon me but I thought that we were talking abt Ultima 5, how can u have
moer than 6 party members in U5?? I know in U4 u can have 8 members...was
hairy though but came in useful to me when I couldn't be bothered to find
the Silver Horn so I had to end up fighting hordes after hordes of
Daemons and Balrons just to get to the Shrine of Humility. Took a while
but sure did my attributes good though...not to mention the treasures.
But anyway I used to hate Katrina in U4 cos she would start of with such
a low level that she would be the easiest to die but comrades are still
comrades and I love them all....my best pal is still Dupre, din really get
to know Shamino that well though cos I was a Ranger in U4 so Shamino could
not be in my party...would love to get to know him better though... but
well he did save my life at the very beginning of U5 when he got shot by a
shadowlord.....but still I retained my Original U4 party in U5 so that
meant that I didn't really get to be great pals with Shamino until U6..
where he was simply awesome with his magic bow. Julia, she is awesome
with the magic axe in U4 and U5...Mariah is my dedicated Mage and I guess
Jaana would have to be my dedicated cleric or healer in the party.
Geoffrey, didn't really build up a strong relationship with him cos he
never really was very social with magic users..but was a great fighter
at the critical times though. Iolo, my trusty companion and dear
friend...have learnt much from this old man...was much younger then in U4
and U5 compared to U6 and up....very good with the crossbow...and not
forgetting a good musician as well....I still remember him playing stones
as I slept....real soothing music..still my fav tune in all the Ultimas.
Dupre...well Dupre is a good man and an even better friend...but being a
paladin, meant that he could caast spells as well...remembered relying on
him casting certain spells in one of the dungeons when all the magic
users' spell points were exhausted....one heckuva fighter as well, he
loved to use the sword but I gave him a magic axe instead and got him to
learn to use it to be on the safe side. In fact all my party members with
the exception of Shamino uses the magic axe. As for me...there is nothng
like my trusty magic sword or any sowrd for that matter...I love the sword.
Other characters...well, personally I felt like killing Tseremed...man he
is so hopeless (btw Tseremed is only in U7)...I like Sparks...really gutsy
kid....Gwenno okay guy I guess...didn't really get to know Gwenno well though.
And U8...er where art my party members?? Oh well I guess somehow or
rather the Guardian reckons I should be the one to hate more thatn anyone
else....which I take great pride in. Johne...well I was glad that I saved
him but I bid him on his merry way after saving him in Ararat. Please
don't ask me abt the talking mice whatisname again? Only used him once to
get something and then its bye bye....never really believed that mice
could be a good traveller. As for that traitor (dun wanna mention his
name...actually I forgot) I forgive him already...hope he had mended his
ways....can't really remember if he is still living or not.

This always annoyed me too. Though Katrina could use a Sling, and Geoffrey
could use a Crossbow. Fighters are supposed to be able to use ALL weapons.
I still think they should have used the same method as in UW2... training
points for each weapon.
Though in U4, I got bored and sector edited the entire party into using Magic
Wands. Oopsie. :)
