Hello,
I'm having a problem with Pool of Radiance(several actually) and
I'm wondering if people can help me out.

1) I have an NPC(Dirten, a cleric) hanging around because I'm
supposed to clean out a desecrated temple or something as told to me by
Bishop Braccio, only problem is I've forgotton what the name of the Temple
is and have no idea to find out where it is.

2) Is there a way to know for sure that you have finished a section?
of the slums or wherever. I go back to the Clerk for Rewards, but sometimes
I don't get any even though I thought I had cleared the entire section.

3) What to do against Wights? These buggers drain a life level, and
that is really annoying since every time it happens I have to reboot since I
don't want to have to re-earn all those XP's.

4) I have collected some leather holy symbols from the 4 BlackHand
Orcs and now I don't know if I have to hang on to them or what.

5) I was given a reward for clearing Sokal Keep, but I can still
take a boat there from the Passenger Docks, Does this mean I still have
something to finish there???

Thanks to anyone and everyone who can help me please.

The only way is by the rewards, but there are sections you do not get
rewarded for. (hell, this has been a long time, but I remember this bit.
It's really confusing...)

The only thing (besides rebooting) to do is go to a temple and have the
life level restored. It costs some mighty bit of bucks, but it works.
You'll be put on the amount of experience you had when you lost the level.
So all the Xp earned on the way to the temple will be lost. Also if you
earn a level on your way to the temple, you cannot get back your old Xp's.

You do not need them at all. They're just decoration.

Even if you've cleared it, you can always go there by boat. It would be
silly to make the ferryman unemployed, just because the bad guys aren't
there anymore, wouldn't it... :-]

C> Thanks to anyone and everyone who can help me please.
My pleasure.

Remember where you got those Leather Holy Symbols from the Orcs? Go
back there, then continue to the opposite side of that block from where
you enter, pass through that door to the next section. In this section
is the temple, inside of which you have to search around for 3 hidden
treasure locations. Once you find the third, a massive group of Orcs
will attack. Once you defeat them, you've completed that mission.

You will get rewarded for each section that is commissioned by the
town, plus rewards for other things you might do that aren't commissions.
If they haven't given you a reward for clearing the slums, then you
haven't found all the fixed encounters in there.

Also, the town will give you several scrolls of Restoration when you
accept the Graveyard commission, you can use these as well.

Yes, you do need them. Re: question 1 above, when you reach that next
block and walk around to the entrance to the temple, there is an Orc there,
blind, who will 'feel' for your leather holy symbol. If you don't
have it, he won't let you in and/or you might get attacked.
