Knights of Xentar is a well made computer role playing game, despite it's
sexy reputation. Aside from all those silly trysts your character engages in,
the story is surprisingly good. There are sevral mini quests you have to
complete in order to solve the main quest. The object of KoX, though it isn't
revealed to you immediately, is to find out and put an end to the machinations
of an invading army of demons that was thought to have been banished.
If you like Anime type graphics, I guess you'll love KoX. IMHO, this has some
of the best graphics I've ever seen in a PC rpg, and I'm not even a big Anime
fan! What I really liked is the "Nintend-ish" look to this game. If you've
ever seen a Final Fantasy NES game, KoX should ring familiar.
The combat system is turn based, though you don't really controll every hit
(like in the gold box serires of AD&D games). Now this isn't a bad thing,
mind you, you merely assign your character how "hard" you want him to hit,
which target (weakest, strongest, random, etc.), and defense/offense rating
you wish your character to follow.
The only bad thing about this game has to do with combat. At first, it seems
pretty well balanced out, but you'll soon realize that you advance in levels
a little too quickly (which in turn, leaves to somewhat easy encounters). This
problem is even worsened once you get the mage, Luna to join you party. Combat
is just too easy then. Yawn.
Okay, you're probably wondering about the sexy stuff. Although you know
that your character is in the "act", there is nothing really hard core. Just
a whole lot of overly buxom women and their bare breasts, _nothing_ more. I
wouldn't consider this game X-rated, just a little naughty I guess. Some
of the sexy scences are quite stupid though. Also, I've heard there are two
versions of this game, an "under 13" one, and the "NC-18" one. If you get
the under age one, you can get the patch for the sexy one through the
company's BBS or mail order (I think).
All in all, KoX is a pretty good game. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it
an 8, since it will probably keep you occupied for some time.

I liked it a lot. I have the CD version. I would imagine the floppy
version sucks.

i doubt it. it is supposed to be the same thing without the voices, and the
voices aren't that good.
