I've been lugging it along all through the game but except for the +1
bonus on both attack and damage, as compared to regular dwarven axes,
it's really useless. Drop it somewhere.

Thanks. It would be nice if Snergle's axe were treated like the Mordred
dagger. You get to keep it AND it's worth something if you want to sell
it.

I believe there is quest to get the axe and return it to some person in Mire
of the Damned.
I believe the quest has something to do with getting rid of Snergle's rule and
replacing him with some other guy.
Loy.
Doesn't the game tell you that something is a quest item? I don't have anything in
inventory that I can check right now, but I seem to recall that quest items mentioned
their status when you right click on them.

I haven't seen this, but I believe that you need the axe as proof you beat
snergle to learn axe mastery.

Yeah. And the axe isn't taken away, so you are left with a +9 axe you
can't sell. And because I have a +11 axe already I don't have any use for
Snergle's axe anymore.
