Did you know you have a sneaky horse? Sneak while riding around
and not only will you slow to 40% (still pretty fast on a horse) but
this also exercises your stealth.

On a more (and happier note), go to the big pink rock in the north
of daggerfall. Line up with the v of the slope on the north side
and run into the rock. If you hit it correctly your horse will
go up the side and jump. Pretty Cool. I was going to try it with
my wagon but had the vision of someone at Bethesda catching this one
and having my stuff in the wagon go flying every which way so I didn't.

(And much as I like the game, it's not role playing. role playing takes
multiple people.)

Here's another horse ditty. While outside or in a town, cast levitate.
You can now switch to your horse. Now you have a levitating horse!
It's a pretty good way to get around town!

I've got to respond to this one. Role playing is NOT multiple people,
it is exactly what the phrase says: *ROLE* playing - in other words,
acting out the "role" of your character - it has NOTHING to do with
how many people are involved. You can still ROLE play even if
spouting a monologue.

I have another horse ditty, one that happened quite by accident. Ever
notice how you can't enter a dwelling if you are on a horse? Pretty
good idea, prevents scuffing the hardwood floors, embarrassing stains
to explain in the carpet. Can't say Bethesda doesn't care about its
electronic citizens. However, if you get upset because the dark
brotherhood has been sending assassins your way, here's how you can
get them back. Set up an anchor in the dwelling, go outside, get on
your horse, and teleport in. Then you can ride around as much as you
want, knocking things over, causing a mess. Oh yeah, make sure you
save the game before you do that though, seems that doors weren't made
quite tall enough for a horse and rider to fit through and you can't
change your transportation mode indoors.

Have fun Tamrielians!!

Riding a horse doesn't use up your stamina the way runnning does.

And your walking/sneaking/running speed all depend on your running
skill. Build that up, and your character will move faster.

I haven't noticed that being on a horse speeds me up faster

than running. Is it supposed to? So sneaking on a horse should
get me down to normal walking speed? If so, that's still annoyingly
slow!

It a terrific way to massacre the city guards since they are all on foot
. you can run rings around them while peppering them with arrows....
