I've never played the first one but being a big fan of the first 2
Fallouts I'm looking forward to this.

Skip to 2:40 for actual gameplay.

I couldn't help but notice a maggot being shot "thru" a rock (@ about
5:50 min) and wonder how hard is it to implement line of site in a game
these days? It will hopefully be fixed before release and other than
that no complaints so far.

Never heard this 'comics code' style before. A quick google and it
appears to be some form of self censoring, but nothing about the
style...

Checked their website, looks like release date is October, and they
are asking $25 at this time. Looks awesome! I really need to go back
and try Wasteland again.

Yes, I put my dollars into the pot once Brian Fargo started that
campaign on Kickstarter. Looking forward to the release.

Incidentally, I am not sure if you're up with it but InExile are also
doing a follow-up to Planescape Torment, with several members of the old
team on the staff already. Releasedate is some time in the foggy future
though, I think 2014 from memory.

If you haven't tried it yet, you might consider giving Legend of
Grimrock a trial run (was on GoG iirc) - very old fashioned dungeon
crawl in the DungeonMaster cast. In my opinion really only good for 2-3
trial runs and one play-through. Nothing new comes along once you've
done it and figured out the puzzles, but it's definitely plenty of
entertainment value for your buck.

I'm oscillating between Fallen Enchantress, Fall from Heaven 2, and
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (latest beta version) a.t.m. Gods, but I suck
at genuine roguelikes!
