The particular point where I get dead-ended is about
halfway through the Tower of Grisslem; more detail
can certainly be provided if by some miracle anyone
can help.

I remember the game... but was a long time ago...
I know I didn't finish it... there was some kinda bug that I hit. I
remember it was one of the bigger dungeons that I was going through and when
I went on to the next level (can't remember if it was up or down... ladder,
hole or stairs...) and it should have put me in a tiny room with a door that
led to the rest of the dungeon...
But, the room I went in to was screwed up and there was no way to get into
the next level and so there it ended
I contacted Psygnosis about this and asked if they had some kinda patch or
something that I missed... but the people I talked to didn't even know they
put the game out and after they finally found out that they did, they
couldn't offer any help... saying that everybody that worked on that game
was long gone, etc, etc, etc...
and i wonder if it's possible to get those games on the PC.
psygnosis.com just sends me to playstation.com so... yeah. boo. they suck.
they were one of my favourite gaming companies back when the amiga was still
alive.

Never mind, at least for now. Dang ruby keys blend in
with the wooden tile floors... I found the key I'd missed
by scouring the entire tower, and have continued merrily.
Thanks to all who responded.

The people who made SotB were Reflections. They went on to make the
Destruction Derby games and, I believe, the Driver games.
The people who made Walker...well, yeah, you might have heard of them.
DMA Design. You know, the people who made Lemmings. Oh yeah, and
the GTA games, too.
None of them with Psygnosis anymore, since Psygnosis is long gone.

Hmmm... pretty good game, it came out during the RPG drought back in
94 or so and was quite a lot better than most the crap coming out back
then. I don't remember it well enough to give you any hints with it.
woah, awesome! someone who actually knows what i'm talking about! :D
I didn't know it was the same DMA Design that made GTA haha.
Too bad Reflections didn't make more out of the SotB games... would have
made a nice, weird RPG setting.
