Hi folks,

I accidentally sold or got rid of the Radio part that Trader Vic
needs in one of the Den quests. Is there a way/cheat program out
there that can help me recover it? I've progressed pretty far
past the Den. I would HATE to re-start the entire game...

Thanks for any help.

Allen

Why not just kill the slavers? Then you don't need the fricking radio.

Not a bad idea if all else fails... but IIRC, those kids that are
loitering outside the entrances to a few places in the Den actually
steal items from you when you walk by them. Maybe that's how you lost
it. If so, you can buy it back from 'Flick' there (I think that's his
name. The guy in the building south of Becky's anyway). A lot easier
than having to take on the Slavers, especially if you're not strong
enough yet :P

Shoot all the slavers is an option.

Thanks Steve,

It turns out some juvenile delinquent did steal the radio part. I
bought it back from Tubby(?), the guy you were talking about. And
no, I'm not strong enough to take on the slavers yet.

Thanks to everyone who replied as well!

OK, heres how i did it (i didnt want to spend the $1000 for my fat-ass
friend Vic). Go over to Tubbies and pop a cap in his ass, you should be able
to handle that. Get all his stuff, you can sometimes get some decent weapons
and armor from him. Then go over to Flicks and pop a cap in his ass, he is
a scum bag anyway. Flick has lots of good stuff, get it all. At this point I
had leather armor, a hunting rifle in one hand and a .45 desert eagel in the
other. I had also gotten two doses of psyco from Flick. Give monkey boy the
combat knife and stroll over to the grave yard so that you are standing with
a clear shot to the entrance of the slavers guild. Now, take one dose of
psyco (this shit is goooood) and start sniping the guards. They will all
pile out of the guild but if you are a good sniper you can kill them all.
Monkey boy will probably die here unless you are kind and give him the other
dose of psyco (monkey boy likes his drugs). Thats it, you got vic with no
radio, you saved a G note, and you get bags of experiance and guns to sell.
Life is sweet. One warning though, you walk away from this battle feeling
like a real bad-ass, dont let it go to your head. Shortly after this I ran
into a military patrol just south of vault city, those guys cut me and
cassidy up like we were school children, and I was better outfitted than
when I snuffed the slavers guild.

The slavers are gravy just use jet on them and wait... then go in and
mow them down!!!
Over specialize and you breed in weakness...
