1) I helped him and killed off the druids, and he thanks me telling me to
visit him in Merchants Guild in BG.
2) I joined the druids, and killed the nobleman hunter...
Both choices seem valid. I used detect evil spell to find out if anyone is
evil, but noone is, or more acurately, you cant get a reading on nobleman
(magic resistance).
So, I was just wondering...I do feel like siding with the druids, but
on the other hand will I miss anything this guy can do for me later when I
get to BG?
Thanks, don't worry about the spoilers, I can take them...

I saved the guy, and met up with him in BG (near a merchant's costel, just
like he says) later. He gives you a little quest there, and if you complete
it, a certain nice item that you could have otherwise taken from his dead
body had you killed him previously. So, you'll get the druid's nice trinket
and (later) the merchant's nice trinket, plus more XP if you side with him.
Besides, those fanatical druids attacked me just for suggesting a peaceful
solution!
Although, to be fair, I don't know if you ever meet up with the druids later
if you side with them.

Yeah, but if you kill him, you get to have some fun as well -
you will meet his brother trying to revenge him. He has some nice
magic bow I think ( or maybe a magic crossbow). I don't think there
is a way to get this unless you kill him.
And you get the sword directly when you kill him.
But I think I'll let him live next time through, anyway, and kill
all druids I can find instead - just for something new.

Yes, I felt some sympathy for the druids then - and took the conversation
path suggesting a peaceful solution - and they went hostile immediately.
OK, I thought, your choice - and killed them.

Read the description of the Druid's ring carefully. My CG PCs were
feeling a bit used over the entire affair until the group's loremaster
ID'd the thing. They sided with the noble, btw.
My PCs just stood around and watched the Druids spell-up the first
time. This is their usual habit when stealthed. Big mistake. The
call-lightning spell zaps right through stealth -- you can't cast
raise-dead on a french-fry.

I sided with the nobelman a long time ago, but I forget what ring the druid
has. What was it? was it better than the sword on the nobelman?

It's a ring of animal friendship, IIRC. It allows you to charm animals.
Cheers,
