(MINOR SPOILERS)
You can get the 2nd level Iron Key from the Shargas hanging around the
"Drainage Cylinder Control Room". There will be three of them who
will attack you en masse. Kill them all and they'll drop the key.

I killed them and searched them and still couldnt find the darn key, could it
be somewhere else? The Shargas near the fountain right?
I read this newsgroup regularly and it seems that about 50 % of the
stonekeep players get stuck here !!!
Usually because they do kill the 2 shargas but then can't find the key
cause the shargas bodies are lying on it !
As for the second sharga, there are 2 doors to enter that corridor,
you could tediously keep throwing stuff, go to the other door, where
the sharga then is, throw again etc.
OR: Throw something, he runs, go in, wait till he sees ya, turn around
fast and get out. Open door again and there he is, throw something,
etc.

The best techniques to battle that I've found include:
1) Standing at the door and throwing stuff at them.
2) Approach quickly, make a quick hack or slash, back up a
square, as it/they/whatever comes closer again, hack or slash
again, and keep repeating. This works especially well in a long
corridor.
3) Throw stuff from the door, then when you can't hit them
anymore, put a throwing item in your hand, enter the room, throw
quickly, then as quickly as possible go to your inventory
scroll(which pauses the action), and get another item to throw
and toss it at them, and repeat until they get too close, then
4) ..keep turning around by leaning on one of the arrow keys,
and use both hands(left and right-click) to hit at them.
Generally they will run around trying to get better position, and
once in a while they will hit you, but you'll generally hit them
more often if you've got better stats than they do, especially if
you find their armor's weak spots.
Also, it's a good idea to keep looking at your health and go to
your inventory scroll(which pauses the action) and eat some roots
or drink some healing potions.
Anyone else have any good fighting tips?

Build up your statistics first, then it will be easier to kill
monsters.
One guy in the net gave me this tip which I think was great :
Practice combat in front of fireplace.
Put 2 different one-hand weapons on Drake's hands, attack the
fire with both weapons then repeat for 30 minutes.
One easy way to do it is to weight your mouse buttons with a
book or something then you can have dinner, watch tv or
whatever.
After you reached level5 skill on both weapons, change with
another 2 different weapons. Repeat.
You will notice that your health, strength & agility also
go up.
