Ultima 4 Question

OK--I'm almost embarassed to have to ask this question (after all, aren't I
supposed to be the expert), but I'm having trouble finding the Rune of Valor.

How are you supposed to get past the guards in Jhelom so that you can
enter the passages and talk with Nostro and find the rune in the towers?

There is a secret passage through the rooms in the Inn.

Don't feel bad! I had to ask about the rune too, and I have completed the
game several times before! Talk of embarassing! :-)

It's lock picks, not skeleton keys. Skeleton keys are Ultima V

Nope, in U5 they're Skull Keys:) And U4 has just keys, no lock picks.
