[IWD] Lysan is missing in the Yeti cave !

Hello,

I'm playing Icewind Dale, and I don't find Lysan the priestress I'm
supposed to slay... I've checked the walkthroughs on the net, and though
I've made everything I should, this woman is not where she is supposed
to be: in the yeti cave. It's empty.

So did one of you know about this bug, and knows how to avoid it ????

You need to have talked to the major evil spirit in that area before she
appears.
You won't know of her existance till that point anyhow.
(That whole area has a big hunk o fighting involved. The next area is even
worse heheheheeeee.... Fun as hell for combat junkies though..)

She isn't there until such time as you are sent to look for her (i.e.
you have to get to the bottom of the major temple-of-the-dead-warrior
whatzisname, talk to the dead warrior, hear about his problem, and then
you can go back and slay the priestess). Never had any problem finding
her, when the time is right.

My .02 worth: You must also agree to kill her. If you tell him you'll
think about it or whatever, she doesn't show. Go tell him you'll dust
her and she'll conveniently show up to let you.

This was what I did... but she wasn't there, though she should have...
In fact I started again and talked to her in the tavern before talking to
Kresselac. And that time it worked. She was there.

Yes, this is a standard problem. You have to tell Kresselack that you will
kill her, not just that you'll consider the matter. She will appear when
Kresselack "senses her presence in the Vale", not before.

I think you have to commit to kill Lysan to the undead general before she
shows up.

Yes it's true. I've had the same problem and when accepting to kill her, the
general says she's here in the valley and then i've found her.
