MM6: Melody Silver - quit following me! (HELP!)

I have Melody Silver in my party in MM6. I forget now where I rescued
her from, but I can't figure out where to get rid of her. I went to
the Silver Helm Stronghold and found the ghost, who then thanked me
for rescuing his daughter. But she's still with me! Can anyone tell
me whether I need to find another place to "dump" her, or if this is a
bug? Also, I didn't see "rescued Melody Silver" or anything like that
under Awards. I rescued her before getting the quest, if that makes
any difference.

You mean Lord Humphrey, who incidentally also wanted the late Lord
Kilburn's shield. :)

Reassuring, but not too much of a spoiler since that's the first thing
I thought when I got her. What made me ask the question was the fact
that Silver's ghost thanked me for rescuing her, but then she didn't
disappear like the quest people usually do. That fooled me into
thinking there was a bug or something, and since I haven't got Nicolai
back yet, I was paranoid about playing that far then having to go back
to an old saved game. I guess that makes sense, though - I mean, why
would she want to go live with a ghost in a deserted castle?
