Here were a few things I stumbled on during my play through that are
interesting, fun, and/or useful. Add your own!

With the arm augmentation that lets you pick up heavy stuff you can pick
up the ground turrets. If you haven't hacked the turret yet just turn
it toward the wall and it won't bother you again. If you have hacked it
you can carry it around and place it in key spots. It will even fire
while you are carrying it AND provide cover. You get the XP for the
kills, too!

If you hack to the monitoring nodes (the red things) you finish the hack
AND get all the bonuses. You can't do this on all hacks but on many
this is the quickest and easiest way to win. By the end of the game I
had like 30+ worm and nuke viruses stored up and I was using them regularly.

You can hack multiple nodes at once as long as you already have
connections to them all. As soon as your hack starts on a node just
click on another one and start that too.

Some user made mods are starting to appear e.g
Deux Ex: Human Revolution Inventory Mod
This mod makes ammo stack up to 255 and mods some grid sizes...

This mod pack from Gibbed contains an enabled Debug Menu, Map Selector
and Skip Intro Logos, Trainer type Cheats.

I'm also finding DX:HR is fun to experiment with.
I've spend ages in that 1st mission start courtyard arranging boxes
...trying to get over a wall ..like I was playing Portal..then a bit later
trying to
carry a really juicy red Big n Bangy canister as far back in the game as
possible .

There are a lot of invisible walls, alas. I've found quite a few
places where it really looks like there might be something beyond the
fence (*) but after building enough of a ramp to get to the top I've
always found an invisible wall.

If you aim just right you can toss a dumpster a HUGE distance. If it
hits something sometimes it takes a silly bounce and goes way further.

(*) Which reminds me, why don't you ever have wire cutters in these
games?

Those amazing cardboard boxes...strongest in the Universe.
I found a ladder (all golden & inviting) that will not let me climb it.
the prompt for climb does not appear.

God damn it. Just tried again & of cause that's it .
The time I've spend fussing around that thing..jumping (how Hero can jump !)
..building heaps of boxes ...& I was just on the wrong side. ??!!

DX:HR certainly has that addictive 'something' that is drawing me in.
I shall have to take care that I don't spend so much
time just messing & exploring that I become bored & spoil the overall game.
