Ok, I am pretty far along and have just passed level 60. The trainer at
Free Haven cannot teach past level 60, so where can I train now? I haven't
been to Sweet Water or Alamos yet.

A couple of unrelated questions:

1) I have been collecting gems from crystals in dungeons. Are there any
uses for these except as cash? Can I sell them safely?

2) What is the deal with the Master Archery teacher in Kriegspire? I fly up
to the top of the tower and it acts like the door isn't there? How do I get
to the guy?

TIA,
Ken

Hmm, not sure about the MA or gems, but the trainer in Castle Ironfist can
train you up to level 200. Not that my characters are up that high yet.

The trainer in... Um.. Shoot forgot... The area with Hydra's and Titans..
trains well into the hundreds. I got to 113 before I passed the game.

The trainer in Castle Iron Fist DOES HAVE A LIMIT TO HIS TRAINING. Don't
post unless you know for sure what you are talking about.

Hey dimwit before posting an all caps yell perhaps you should tell people
what limit you think the trainer has, or are you to stupid to back up what you
said?

I hear that Castle Ironfist can train you as high as you want. I've been
going to Blackshire, though, because I can Town Portal there. I'm around
67-68.

Ok, guys, settle down. I picked up the hint book today and the limit for
the trainer in Ironfist is 200. I could have sworn that earlier I was told
by that trainer that he couldn't train me anymore (at around level 50 or
so), but obviously I was mistaken.

200 level limit is far above what I can dream... Anyway, it's far from 60th,
no ? And please, don't forget to take your medecine anymore, ok ?

You mean there isn't a special blacksmith like in Xeen that can make
weapons from gems? (Hint for MM7) I want my enchantable Diamond Sword,
now, now, now! :)

I got tired and gave up at 1000th level. Dang Archer now gets dead faster than before though :( Titans are using death spells on him, to eliminate the higher threat??

So, since you took advantage of a cheat/bug (fire king, perhaps?), do you
feel the game is spoiled for you? Have you finished it yet?

AFAIK, you can, since quest items cannot be sold. I would like some
confirmation on this, too.

You must first become a Battle Mage, which the guy in the Frozen Highlands
can do (you must complete a quest). Not Stone, the other guy (Osric
Temper, I think).

Hold on to the gems. I think you can exchange them for something.
If I'm not mistaken, you get a lamp for a gem. I will check it
out later. Make sense though, in HoMM, recruiting genies require
gems.

Is this the first or the second archer upgrade?

Later...

Unfortunately it's the other way around, you get a gem for the lamps you
find. George Ruof said to sell 'em, and I did. My characters have done
all the dungeons but the last one, and have found no other use for
them. Sorry to disappoint, but better to have the money, then the
wasted space.

It's the other way around- you trade the used genie lamp to get gems, so you can sell said gems
