Where is the warlord? I though the lord of Temper said it was near Silver
Cove. I just cleared out the fortress near the town, the one with all the
sword masters and fighters, but didn't find the warlord.

Did you meet any death knights/doom knights? Then you were in the right
castle, and might just as me killed the warlord without knowing.... I
went back to the person who gave me the quest after finishing the
building without knowingly finding the guy, and behold! I succeeded
with the quest.. =}

I say, please have some more discinction between monsters and 'bosses'!

There are no "boss" figures in MM6. So in ethric tomb, the first power
lich you kill has the skull; in warlord's castle, after you kill the
single death knight you will find a key to warlord's room, which happen
to be near the cabin you find the key, get the discharge paper and you
finished the quest; in snergle's carven, just kill you the dwarfs in the
throne room and you will find the axe in the first dwarf lord's body...

: I did the same with Snergle's Axe. I found it in my inventory after
: fighting the dwarf mob without noticing Snergle himself.

Interesting theory, but untrue. I definitely found Snergle. He had
Snergle's Axe. I killed 90% of the dwarves by standing in the corridor
near their room and casting 20+ rings of fire. ;) Then we found the two
remaining dwarves; a Dwarf Lord, and Snergle. Snergle had about 15% fewer
hit points than a Dwarf Lord. He died quickly. It was amusing.

I haven't done the Warlord's place yet (next fight in it looks to be too
tough for me, or at least, did 7 levels back) but it's probably next on
my list.

I'm trying to do everything I can before I do the promotion quests for the
four classes I'm using...

Actually there is. When I did the werewolf quest. There was definitely
one that said "Werewolf leader" when I right clicked on him. And low
and behold he's the one that had the black pearl on him. So there are
"Boss" monster they just don't have special graphics for them.
