2. Did anyone find a use for the metal detector?
3. What's the use of the meteor metal?
4. What's the use of a sword blank?
Has anybody tried forging i.e. meteor metal + sword blank to get a nice sword?
I'm going to try it tonight...

If you get the Mythral stinger for that spell component person, the person
living in the Megara's cave (forgot his name -- the one whose mirror you have
to break) will be carrying Terror Extract. Use that on a bowl and then a
knife on the bowl, and you'll get a permanently-poisoned terror blade.

The Terror blade can be found when you have killed Balkaazar
You must have done a job for the elf in Red Desert -acquiring the
terror bloom and then give it back to him. Then when you get to balkaazar
you will find the extract ready to use. Just put a knife in the bowl with the
extract and next thing you know you have a terror blade.

You can use it in the area where the draj forces are searching for iron
(or steel). Forget what you have to do but involves with showing them there is
no minerals in that area

Go back to Teaquetzl and use the armorers forge. I know a lot of people
think that you make a wand or stick from it but that isn't right. You need
to heat up the forge, then heat the metal, then beat it,(cant remember exactly
the right order, but do know that once you have created a wand, beat it again
until you get a magic hammer)

Never found it. Doesn't mention any thing about it in the clue book.

I dont think that will work as the meteor is itself a separate weapon

you find a book somewhere (or some character), describing the creation
of the terror blade. part of it is to find a terror bloom for the
specialty item trader.

this can be forged into an axe in the Teaquetzl smith.
