Planescape: Torment - Help, got a Black Abishai on my butt

bar and a Black Abishai keeps following me and attacking (plus all of
the Hive Thugs in the area). I can take care of the thugs but can't
kill the Black Abishai. Any suggestions??? The only weapons I have
are knives, crowbar and brass knuckles (or whatever they are called).

Abashai off... talked to it or attacked it... either way its gonna kill you.
At your current power level you have approximately a 0% chance of survival
since you have no enchanted weapons and therefore cannot even harm it.
Run... Run fast.

a magic weapon to cut Abishai hide. You'll get some magic weapons fairly
early on, however. Pick up Dakkon if you haven't already - he's inside
the SC bar and I believe the weapon he starts with is magic at the time.

If you are too low a level, the best thing you can do is run. However, if
you want to try to take him on (this is a good way to get exp at mid
levels before the Lower Ward), try using the green steel dagger you got
off corpse 42. It seems to be the only non-magical weapon that will
effect them.

Hello:
When I try to become a mage, I get 7000 exp from Mebeth(sp?) to start
out. the problem is, when I try to level up, it won't let me accept. I
get a second message window that is empty and no options but cancel. The
only way out of this trap is to Atl-Tab and then quit. Does anybody know
a workaround? Thanks.

You're wearing a cursed weapon. Take it off with a remove curse spell
or you can't level up as a class that can't normally use the weapon.

it's tough - especially at the lower levels.
Get of of the that part of the Hive and don't come back until you get
magic weapons or a mage of sufficient power to do some damage.

it works Daakon has a reasonable chance of taking out a single Abaish.
If the curse doesn't work - get the hell out of Dodge.
