Spolier info in here beware !!

Help,
The game was going great, till I figured out that the Hour Glass of
Time isn't in the Hive dungeon. DOH !!!!!!!!!!!, Oh ya, I blew up
the world whoops. Then the message comes up about how the Oracle said
to get some spell etc. Uh oh, I haven't been to the Oracle yet..

I finally broke down and started reading the newsgroups to see where I
messed up. Then to my suprise, I find out the Hour Glass of Time was
in Gharik's Forge. So I went back to see if I could find it. The
entire dugeon had regenerated. No problem I thought, my characters
are in the 80s. Then the little snag, the door at the bottom of the
elevator is locked. DOH !!!!

So, I head back to Myst to the Silver Helm Outpost where the key to
Gharik's Lab is. Well the Outpost had regenerated, but there was no
key. :-(............

So all the dungeons are cleared on the map, I haven't talked to the
Oracle and I can't seem to finish the game and win. I can end the
game, but the world blows up doh.....

To add to the pickle, my roomie is playing the game also. And he
followed my path and didn't find the Hour Glass of Time. He tried to
go back and he can't get it either.

Stuck, please help......

Go to the Seer and tell him that "I lost it".

#include <stdio.h>
int main(void) {

for(i=s+*(s+1);i-s-1;) printf("%c", *i--^*s); return 0; }

Thanks for the good tip, but unfortunately the seer only gave me Lord
Kilburn's Sheild and the First Mates Code Scroll. Both of these
quests are done too, weird.

I fear, Im gonna have to start over, DOH!!!!

The only other thing I can think of, in case George doesn't know, is to
get one of the trainer programs to 'give' yourself the key or to Hex
edit and produce it if possible.

This happens a lot (the door also locks if you have alrerady opened
it, then leave the dungeon).

I believe if you go to the SEER in Ironfist and say 'I Lost It', he
will give you another

I tried this before I even tried the forge. I dropped the key outside
the seer, went in and he gave me another (so I then had 2 :P). Not
certain this will work if you have already actually used the key
though.

Similarly, and irritatingly, I missed the expected chest of goodies
from the Ghost of John Silver cos I left after I had spoken to him
(was getting creamed by the Veterans): when I returned, the ghost had
gone and the secret door remained closed. The seer is no help in this
case
