So my level 39 Knight has 50+ excess skill points to spend
and I'm having trouble thinking what to do. I don't need
to have him learn a misc. skill since I've already committed
my other characters to those -- Archer with master Disarm
Trap, Paladin with master Merchant, and Sorceror with
master Identify. My Knight is already a master in Sword,
Body Building, Learning, and Repair. But since he can't
have a magic skill, which chews up skill points to no end,
it's tough to figure out how to use up the points.

Options I'm considering:

- I know I have to master Plate Armor, but all I need to
do is get to Hero. Adding skill here will help armor
class, but that isn't very exciting.
- Add to sword skill, maybe he'll hit more often. But like
boosting armor skill the incremental payoff doesn't seem
that high.
- Master another weapon. Might be a good idea. I'm hearing
two different weapons are better than two swords. But
which other one to get, mace, axe, or spear?
- Body building for more hit points, but he already outlasts
the rest of my group by a wide margin.
- Learning, always nice to get experience faster. But will
all that get me is more skill points I can't already find
a home for?
- Take over Disarm, Merchant, or Identify skills from other
characters, but they seem to be doing a good enough job.

So my current thought is to put the points into mastering
another weapon and boosting learning.

Thoughts?

Put those skill points into Body building! Go way above 12.
For each point you spend on a Champion you get 24 permanent
hit points. This is very nice. About spending skill points on
bodybuilding, do it 'till it hurts! ;)

I've put some notes by your ideas. There are all opinion, of
course.

Yeah, get master and move on here. Don't waste sp.

I've been putting into sword like nuts to see if it makes myChampion
faster. I've got 18 skill and can't see a difference.
Dunno what to do here.

This is good. I'd recommend axe or spear (mostly axe). Keepan axe in
one hand and a sword in the other. Some monsters
get hurt more by different weapon types. By having a variety
on-hand you can whale on a larger variety of opponents!

There will always be times you wish he could last just a little
bitlonger. Dump them in here!

Leveling up is _always_ a good thing.

Already did that for my Knight. I'm back where I started already.I
think it is good to take the burden off of the spellcasters, though.

Change learning to bodybuilding.

Hope that helps!

Well I gave my knight most of the misc skills. Such as perception, disarm,
and repair. I also had him master all of the weapon types (spear,
staff, dagger, axe, etc) so I can just have him use whatever is the best
weapon. After that I had him stick more points in his weapon skills so he
would hit more often. I also already had body building on him, I like having
my knight with insane HP so I can always retreat instead of ressing back in
New Sorp. With almost a thousand HP now theres little that can kill him.
btw, I gave body building to all my chars, same with learning, and
meditation to my cleric and sorceror)
