Youve been warned :)
Ok..theres a little bit of a puzzle involved in opening the central room.
If you've noticed, your characters will receive a zap when you try to open
some of the doors. The trick here is that you need to open them in a
certain order. I don't remember off the top of my head, but I believe its
clockwise starting from one of them (experimenting shouldn't take but a few
seconds..).
As for that door in the gong room, the answer also lies in the large area
where the 4-door locked room is. You know the wooden doors along the sides?
Each of these "areas" behind the doors contains a key which opens another
locked area behind another one of these doors. Eventually you should find a
key that will open that locked door in the gong/skeletal army room.
Hope this helps! Its been a few weeks since I did that area :)

Ya gotta think for that middle room. A sign tells you something about the
compass if I remember correct so the N, E, W, S doors will do it. You'll
know if youve got it right cause one wont zap ya!
The gong can be sold to some chap in Hew Haven for 3 grand or something.
One you get the key in the middle room, things shoudl go smoother...
cheers,
