those who haven't gotten this far yet . But if some one could e mail me a hint
I would appreciate it. ( does it have anything to to with the chamber behind

You have to use the time orb to defeat Draak. When you right click on
it you will get 25 seconds on the clock. You can only defeat Draak
within this time frame as he won't be able to regenerate. I'd hack at
him a bit and then use the orb so you have an easier time of things.

yes I know that right clicking on the orb will give me 25 secound to wack at
him but nothing seemd to land on him spells dont reach, weapons dont appear
to do any damage. If I move in closer he transforms and then the orb clock has
stopped tcking . I've even made it back up and had it recharged. I even had
him cornered in a place where he could not get to me but be kept regenerating
till I was exhausted. Do you have to reach master level to kill him ?

Actually, you have to go in first, let him transform, and _then_ start
wacking him while he's in dragon form. When he's starting to get low on
health, use the orb. While the orb clock is ticking, he won't be able to
regenerate. :]

BTW, I find it impressive that you managed to corner him to a point
where he couldn't get you. Do that again with the orb running, and
you'll beat him for sure.

You should be able to kill him on novice. I was around level 25 when
I defeated him. I had equipped the njoliner (sp?) hammer that is
found in his lair. It did lots of damage to him!! Just have lots of
healing potions on your side and keep whacking away.

yeah it was wierd perhaps a bug but I had run around behind him and got behind
the wall to the entrance to his throne room and for some reason he got locked
into a loop and couldn't move just kept sending out deamons and regenerating.
I found something like it in the hive . I tried to kill a nest but it kept
regenerating wasps

Don't just use 50 healing potions; he will beat the poo out of your armor &
it's risky. Keep your distance and keep reflection running at all times (He
will not do any range damage to you as long as this spell is up. I know, a
near deity (and all ranged-attack opponents too) shouldn't be rendered
useless versus a low level spell, but you gotta convince DSI of this minor
'feature'). Now, have 20+ mana potions on you, and keep casting magic bomb
(or whatever spell; magic bomb is my favorite) on him, and use the quick
keys to replenish mana. The faster you click, the faster you attack; with a
decent mage/cleric/thief you should be able to beat him in 10 seconds
without taking any damage. If you have a PC controlled teammate, give him a
ranged weapon and make him auto cast Reflections and he'll help a bit too
without getting hurt either.
