Can anyone give me some tips on how to defeat Shodan in Cyberspace? I
have tried several times, but I always get killed.

Thanks in advance.

All I can say is keep trying. A had hard time killing him off myself, but
somewhere around the 7th attempt I killed him. Just get in there and blast
away constantly, whether you see him or not. A lot of luck is involved since
SHODAN totally messes up your ability to move properly and the screen gets
harder and harder to see. Hang in there, eventually you will kill the bastard.

Thanks for the tip, but I think I discovered a strategy to kill him.
What I did was to constantly keep Shodan on the screen and use the
ENTER button to constantly fire the pulsar (or whatever is called)
weapon.

I think the reason I was always getting killed was because a) I just
stood still and b) I used the right mouse button to fire - which I
noticed would always alternate between thrusting forward and firing.
