Nope.
Should be able to go on two. It would be marketing suicide to make an
8Mb-min game right now, although I wonder about 1994+. Seems like you
can't find many new systems this year configured w/ less than 8Mb.

well, if it dont support 4MB then im out, with about 80% of the rest of the
gaming world. They will suffer if they do require more than 4. I'd say
the average of what people do have is 4MB, followed by 1MB, followed by people
with >4MB.

Unfortunately, that's the impression most people get when an alpha gets out - a bad one.
The official release of DOOM will only require 2MB of memory.
