The following is the most recent communications with Steven Lee. I
apologize for the bandwidth usage, but feel this needs to aired out to give
Steve a fair shake. I'll keep this group notified as things develop.
Thanks for listening.

Steve,
Well, you are alive! After sending you 2 e-mails and never getting a
response I thought.... well you know what I thought. To be honest with
you, I'm still a little queasy about the situation, after all I could send
a package to Taiwan and it wouldn't take over 6 weeks (and counting) to get
there. I've done a few international trades and none have even come close
to the time this one is taking, and you're just over the border! But, as
long as you are no longer avoiding me, and are assuring me I will get the
game, I'll hang in there, for a little while longer at least. Are you
saying you didn't get my game either? Hard to believe, especially since I
spent the extra $1.50 to have it shipped "air mail" because I thought you'd
appreciate getting your game ASAP. The lady at the Post Office said it
would take no longer than 10 days to reach you. I'd be happy to put a
trace on the package, would you be so kind as to do the same?

Steve, the last thing I ever want to do is trash a good traders name by
posting an erroneous "bad trader" message. I will immediately post the
contents of your message to me and this one so that I may keep everyone
informed of the events as they now stand. To avoid further confusion,
could you please e-mail me your phone number (which I should have gotten in
the first place)? I look forward to getting the game. Let's try to keep in
contact until this matter reaches conclusion. Talk to you later.

<long post including some correspondences erased>

I once have traded across the border (USA<->Canada) and
the other guy have put a wrong address on the box. It
took about 6 weeks before the package got back to him.

Not to mention during that 6 weeks, I am more than a little
suspicious about being ripped off. Lucky both of us stayed
in touch via email and everything was fine.

The moral, the US or Canadian postal service is really
not that reliable + there is always honest human mistakes.

From now on, I always ask for a phone number and double
check a deal on the phone before i ship. So even if
something bad happen, there is always a line of communication
to sort thing out.

In all fairness, I have had several Canadian packages take longer to
receive than a package sent at the same time from England. I've had an
air package take 6 weeks to arrive from England as well. I've also had
a package from Australia take as little as 3 days!
A common problem is not waiting around to actually *watch* the postal
person put AIR stickers on the parcel. They can and DO forget (or just
not care) thusly dooming the package to Surface which can take up to 3
MONTHS.

Just a couple of pennies,
Brian Workman
