Alright, need some help... Got a new PC a while back, and tried to install
Jane's F-15 on it a while back (I was running it on a Windows 95 machine
before). It kept freezing during the actual install process. I tried messing
around with XP's compatibility issues, but nothing. So I cntacted EA's online
support, and they said F-15 wont work with XP and there isn't a patch
available. This can't be right, has anyone out there gotten Jane's F-15 to
work on their XP computer?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

I haven't had any issues with the installer. What filesystem are you using?
NTFS, FAT16, FAT32? Also, what compatibility settings did you use? Are you
sure there's no funk on your disk? (I've had fingerprints cause installs to
go kaboom before).

There were some large threads started and participated in by myself and
others regarding F15, WW2 Fighters, Fighters Anthology and the Longbow games
and using them in XP. The only truly badly behaved Janes game thus far is
USAF, which will not run under XP at all.

Let me know what the answer to the above questions is and I'll try to assist
you as best I can.

F15 is truly an incredible sim.

Actually USAF runs under WinXP but you can't change the settings, you can
click on the settings menu as much as you want but it won't open. Dual boot
I say, the only way to go!
