Greetings,

I picked up a beautiful Gravis Firebird 2 joystick controller at
GoodWill. I'm pretty attached to the old analog joystick ports. I
was thinking I could just download the software off their Support
site, but Gravis has disappeared off the face of the Earth!!!

Can anyone point me to a link which has the software and manuals? I
have little hope there as I've scoured the internet and all links
simply come up with the 404 error. No good links available since
Gravis went under.

Short of that, does anyone still use it and can email me the Control
Console software, driver and possible their manual in .pdf form? I
run XP, and I'm making due with a CH F-16 Flight Stick driver, but the
stick is basically worthless without being able to map the buttons to
keystrokes, hence the need for the Control Console.

I'd really love to make this work and would appreciate any help or
ideas offered.

TIA, Rob

I found the software by Googling PCFBIRD2.ZIP. Contains the manual,
control software, driver, tester, etc.
If someone needs it and can't find it on the net, I can arrange to
email.

I got this bad boy working under Windows 7x64. It takes a little work but it's MORE than worth it.
