*SPOILER*
Nope...you can make more beads by pouring lava into the giant machine...
Remember to fix it first though...

Lucas Arts games ARE the max, and indeed, as you could have expected, you
can't get stuck in this game.
You do you get oricalcum? Well, find a cup in one of the rooms, find a statue with
a loosen head too. Take the head. Go to the lava room. Use the cup somewhere on
the machine, put the head somewhere too, and the cup will get filled with
lava. Now, take this full cop, go to the large machinery room and make
sure you've completed the machine (a large wheel etc..). Go up the stairs,
empty the cup in the bowl, above the machine, make the thing work and you
get 9 fine oricalcums !!!.
You can repead this process a few times, because if you're not too lucky
later in the game, you'll need more than 9 oricalcum beads.
Good luck !!!
still stuck? E-mail me at Stijn....@student.kuleuven.ac.be...
