After LSL3, Al Lowe didn't want to do any more LSL games (he was
probably sick of doing the same type of game over and over again) so
he said that he would not make a Larry 4. When they found out it was
a lucrative series, and he had to go back and make some more, he
couldn't go back on his word, could he.

Aparently, you haven't played the LSL games, have you? Welcome to
Al Lowe's sense of Humor. (Actually, I found it funnier than most
of his humor, perhaps thats the reason for your confusion? ;-))
There was no LSL4.
There ws a satire product, called The Laffer Utilities, which
was a stire of all those desktop products (ie, calender, writing
program and other humorized utilities for Win 3.1). It came out
as version 4.0 as a joke. But there is no LSL4.
