Here is where I am:
I have talked with everyone that I can find with the "user choice"
conversation mode
I have slept and checked my messages several times
I found the rifles and the grenades, but it won't let me take any of them!
(grrr!)
I have 2 pieces of the DNA
No one is in attendance at the sushi bar... you'd think it'd get robbed!
Izo is dead, shot by Steele
Grigorian is human according to the VK in this storyline
Bullet Bob - I ran the VK, but I couldn't get a definite answer as to if he
was a human in this storyline. In a previous game I have the VK show him as
being a replicant. (BTW- what are some guidelines to manually calibrate the
VK? Always move the slider to "0"?)
No one was in the Bradbury building, except the toy replicants (How does one
get to the roof of that building which I thought I heard someone mention?)
The dog has an insatiable appetite for treats :)
Guzza is never in the office any more
The lab guy is AWOL. Is there any way to summon him??
I have scanned every picture a few times:
-I have the picture the Izo took of Ray McCoy with the Blonde in the
background (this storyline does not have Deckard there)
-I have the picture from the China Bar and ID'd Guzza and Izo in the
background
What is the purpose of the valve/pipe near the sewer where McCoy says
"interesting"?
How do I get across the gap in the sewer?
How do I get through the locked doors in Maraji's lab and the big steel one
where the now dead oriental cook would have fled through?
How do I get a modified KIA device to suppress clues, or is that later in
the game?
Any hints would be appreciated. Please e-mail me at chi...@denver.net.
Thanks!
Someone said that Act 3 started when McCoy finds some reps in the Bradbury.
They aren't there yet! What am I missing?

In this game, I am a replicant. The photo that I got of the moonbus has me
in it with Clovis!
Anyway, I shot Guzza and then later I was invited by Clovis to meet him at
the moonbus. Where is the moonbus?
I still want to know the following...
I haven't always had luck identifying individuals as people or replicants.
Sometimes I will save the game just before the VK and try different
combinations of hard and easy questions. What are some guidelines to
manually calibrate the VK? Always move the slider to "0"?
The lab guy is AWOL by the second act. Is there any way to summon him?? Is
he not needed any more?
What is the purpose of the valve/pipe near the sewer where McCoy says
"hmm"? (not "interesting")

Heh, so far, I've used the Voight-Kampff test twice, just on Grigorian
and Dektora. How does this sucker work exactly (I know the concept
since I read the book and saw the film, I meant in game terms)?
Westwood hasn't sent final versions yet, so I've been messing with the
gold master, which has no manual...

There is not much help in the manual! ... it is mentioned that you can
calibrate the test yourself using the semi-circular slider on the right side
which adjusts the "reaction gauge," but I haven't figured out exactly what
effect it has. According to the manual "this is a violation of department
procedure and is not recommended." *grin*
I think that the slider adjusts the threshold of the iris reaction level
according to the individual? My guess is that it *may* be advantageous to
move the slider a bit further to the right if someone is more aggressive
(Bullet Bob) and a little to the left for someone less aggressive (Girgorian
or Dektora or Lucy).
According to the manual, monitor the two needles on the left. The upper
needle represents human tendencies and the lower represents replicant
tendencies.
This is what I've determined so far as to what to do:
Push the pink(?) button under the semi-circular slider to ask a baseline
question which is supposed to automatically calibrate the machine.
The three buttons on the right indicate the difficulty of the question you
are going to ask in terms of predicted emotional response. The left one is
easy, the middle one is in the middle :) , and the right one is for the
more emotionally charged questions.
What I have done is ask an easy question first, then a hard question, then a
middle one, then a hard one and repeat the sequence. If someone is getting
too worked up with this strategy and is ready to leave the test, throw in an
extra easy question to calm them down.
Does anyone have a better strategy for doing this? The hint book is due to
be out on December 4th and maybe it will have better guidelines.
This has been a public service announcement.
