I just found a copy of the music from Zork: Grand Inquisitor.

It is a lot of fun. The music is great, injected with humor and action
and suspense and adventure.

It's very different from the typical game music and I like it a whole lot.

I found mine at Intrada.com under the "featured items" area.

Does anyone know what else the composer John Beal has done? He's really
interesting. The liner notes from the director are good, too.

Go to Dejanews and search on John Beal in this newsgroup. He recently posted
an announcement of a radio show that he was doing in L.A. (and was unfairly
flamed for posting an inappropriate message, yet here is another person
asking about game soundtracks--take note, all you who flamed John Beal). As
I recall, in addition to the flames, his announcement generated a thread
discussing some other games he has done music for.

I just got my own copy of this score album and LOVE IT!

If you go to http://www.intrada.com, they have his web site linked to the
Zork page.

He's done a whole lot of stuff. I'm ordering his COMING SOON! album right
now, 'cuz I've always loved the music in trailers.

I hope he does more games soon
