On the other hand, if I try running the aitd.exe from the CD, the program
wants to see an indark3.cfg file.
Does anyone know of a way of running AITD3 with minimal HD usage - just
config and save files on the HD, I guess?
As it is, I have to put the files on a compressed drive, and then I can't
get enough conventional memory to run the prog with sound, due to the
doublespace drivers.

I don't know if you can run the game from CD,
but I can assure you that it really needs
every bit of the 592k.
