At the stained glass window (after you play for a while) you get a brain
teaser. You have to select points and put spiders there. I can only get
a few spiders up before it starts me over ("That's not it")
In the intro, the one woman has a skull on her face as she walks past
the window, could this have something to do with it?

Spoiler with the rules and goal for the puzzle:

Goal: Get spiders on all the points of the star.

Rule: The puzzle is played on the points of the star.

1) Pick an empty point. A spider will appear on it.

2) If the point is connected to two adjacent points without spiders, click on
the point you wish the spider to walk to. Go to step 1.

3) If the point is only connected to a single adjacent point without a spider
on it, the spider will walk there. Go to step 1.

4) If you have clicked on the last point, you win!

5) If there are no adjacent points without spiders, you lose.
