1. How do I get into the office near the elevator of the MAINTENANCE
level? I've managed to get security down to about 10-20%
by shooting every camera and node I can find but I still
can't get in! Did I miss any hidden nodes? Should I
accomplish something else first?
2. Does the security in the REACTOR level never go below 20%? I've
also tried to bring it down repeatedly by looking for nodes
and cameras to fry but no dice! Am I missing anything?
Thanks for your help! Oh, and don't you all think there should be a
SYSTEM SHOCK 2? I'm thinking that maybe your experience here would
get you a job as an infiltration agent for other stations that have
gone haywire (sort of a DESCENT storyline...). Maybe SHODAN somehow
managed to escape to another station of military or strategic
importance?
Oh well, keep on playing...

You will come back at a later point in the game.

There are more cameras behind the locked maintance doors (these are
the doors that give you the 'no maintenance required' message). These
doors will open after you have first attempted to flip the 'Jettison
Enable Master Control' on level 6.

I can’t remember if security goes down below 20%, but it may after you
have blown up the reactor.

I agree. I have seen various posts saying that there is going to be a
SS2.
