Anyone have any luck running this? I have tried compatability options but
have had no luck.

The issue you have is probably with Quicktime. Both Myst and Riven are
really difficult to get going under XP because they use Quicktime to render
the movie parts of the game. You can try earlier versions of Quicktime to
see if that helps, some people report that this does the trick. Otherwise,
like me, you're stuffed. Myst III onwards works fine because they use their
own built-in player and there is a version of Myst called RealMYST which
works okay.

Your remarks about quicktime got me looking at the problem from a different
angle and I found this:

I suggest you get RealMyst and play that instead, much more intuitive,
with it's fully 3D interface.
