No, it was supposed to SHIP Friday, Oct. 28. Access Tech Support says it
did indeed start shipping yesterday. Dealers near me (I'm fortunate
enough to have several) expect it Monday or Tuesday. I'm salivating already.

According to Access, it started shipping on the 27th of October - but
only to those that pre-ordered the game directly from Access. I believe
they also said that stores will start getting the game around Nov. 5th.
Nice to see a company supporting direct orders <g>

hahahahaha. Add at least a month to any release date. (except for games
which you know are circulating as pirate copies, ala Doom2)

It is in stores now. Electronics Boutique called me to tell me that they got
my copy, but I don't have a car to get there :(

Oh, well, the computer store next door ordered it for me also, they should
have it soon :)
