You have to aim the rock catapult thing at the banana tree on the beach.
Bananas will fall off the tree. Feed them to the monkey. He'll follow you
around. Go to the monkey head and pull the nose on the totem pole.
I don't remember if you get the nails from the woodworker on the first island.
I think you get the hammer there, too.
Hope that helps.

Jasmine
If you saw off the pirate's wooden leg, he will require the services of
the woodworker for a little while...

1) The carpenter might leave if he needed to make an urgent house call,
especially if the client couldn't walk.
2) Try focusing the power of the sun from the monkey and that which seems
distant will come closer.
3) Once you solve 2) then 3) is obvious.
4) A parrot mightn't know the difference between a reflection and a picture.
5) You need to take a friend to sniff out the right piece.

#2. You have to find the brick inside Rummy's house. This is done by
putting the telescope you found in the big tree on phatt Island on
the monkey statue outside the beach house. with the shutters OPEN,
the sun will shine in and reflect off the mirror you got from the
gift shop on Booty Isle. (see parrot bag answer),and reflect on a
wall inside the house. you can't push the brick until winning the
drinking contest which is done by using the grog on the tree to
empty the mug, and then filling the mug with near-grog you get from
saving captain kate from jail. To do this, take the leaflet with her
picture on it that she gives you on Booty island an put it on your
wanted poster next to the jail on Phatt island. then return to
dread's ship, a cut scene will play, Kate goes to jail, and you open
the cell with the key. She leaves and there will be another envelope
on the desk in the jail, containg the near-grog.After you win the
drinking contest, push the brick shown by the telescope, and the
trap door will open, get the map piece, and exit through the hole in
the wall, which is one way only, out to the beach.
#3- see above.
# 4 -The parrot in the gift shop on booty island likes the picture
better than the mirror. Ask to buy the "beware of parrot" sign in
the gift shop.then put the parrot bag on the hook where the sign was
hung. the parrot will move over on the perch, and you will be able
to buy the mirror mentioned in question 2.
5. go back to the Goervner's mansion and pick up the dog. Bring back
to maps. The dog will scare the seagull, and will find the correct
map. Good Luck, Scott
