I'm not sure if this is a bug or not...

On the "Disk 3" island, I've been cruising around the lagoon in the submarine.
Having gotten to the little "pyramid" I've pulled the cord and gotten what
looks like a trapeze bar to come down. Is there anything I can do with it? It
looks like something you'd grab on or sit on, but clicking it never does
anything and it then retracts after a minute or so...

QUITE annoying! Especially since from across the lagoon I can see that there's
stuff on top, so I figured it was a dead ringer to ride up to the top. :( In
frustration I tried to glance at that walkthrough without looking very closely
(to try and avoid getting anything else spoiled) so I can't figure out if I'm
just not clicking right, if there's something wrong with mine, or if there's
something that must be done first earlier. Thanks!

(Having found eyeballs #2-5, the hunt to find #1 is quite frustrating!)

.You have to find a way to walk on over to the trapeze...have you seen
a bug statue huge with big jaws??? open those jaws and ride the
elevator up and you're well on your way to ride the trapeze...

Be sure that you've put the floor in the tipi of poles. (You do that from
the very top of the island; msg me if you need more.)

It's hard to click on exactly the right thing in that tipi. You should
click on a little handle that looks like an orchestra triangle. That
should bring a bar down, like a child's swing. You click on that, and
completely counterintuitively, the game puts your butt into the thing and
you ride to the top.

As for eyeball No. 1, I gave up on it finally and continued on, then
found it almost by accident much later. Maybe that will happen for you.
There are several parts to the puzzle -- the number and the animal it
corresponds to. You've already figured out the number. Keep your eyes out
for more animal-like shapes in the landscape (and waterscape and
treescape, etc).
